•Working with maintenance personnel, operations personnel, engineers and management to solve manufacturing problems related to troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing instrument, control and electrical systems. • Working knowledge of motor controls, VFD's, DC drives, etc. • Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment. • Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as PLC’s, transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables. • Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices. • Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other team members; repair the problem either by self or with other team members. • Knowledge of single and 3-phase up to 480 volts. • Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects. Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts. Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications. • Maintains records of repairs, calibrations, and tests. • Repair and maintains machines such as Compressor & Generator. • Reading and understanding the schematic diagram for electrical panels using relays and contactors. • Cranes troubleshooting. • Install and design electric panels according to the requirements needed.
