  -Drive the development of potential customers from cold calling, initial contact, closing business, contract negotiation/execution, and ongoing account management. -Develop and own the relationship with new customers and existing customers as assigned. -Ensure customer satisfaction. -Manage expectations and deliverables between customers, operations, and additional support staff. -Execute the strategic plan for MDC customers to increase the use of the company’s line of products in the market by performing sales analysis and customer business reviews. -Present existing line of products to new customers and review the ability to customize DOA testing as needs dictate. -Utilize web-based reporting tools and CRM to capture sales activity and recording of opportunities, risks, and other territory reporting requirements. -Represent the company at professional meetings, trade shows, conferences, exhibits, and promotional events as outlined by MDC leadership. -Develop sales plans to increase revenue from new and assigned accounts to achieve revenue growth and gross margin objectives. -Follow pricing guidelines to grow and retain profitable business. -Knowledge of the substance abuse and Point of Care testing market. -Proven track record of successfully managing clients and/or accounts on a long-term basis. -Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities within existing customers. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Proficiency in all MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint, etc.).
