This position was an entirely self-guided and self-sufficient position that required me to create my own professional grade videos capturing the day-to-day events and activities happening around the property. These videos were used as entertainment at night as well as posted for parents and committee members daily. • Filmed footage of various events and activities throughout the day, making use of multiple different DLSR and mirror-less Canon Cameras and a variety of lenses. • Worked under tight time constraints to make same-day complete edits of footage previously taken, to be shown nightly to ~400 viewers. • Led and instructed college aged students in camera basics for them to capture B-Roll footage.

    • Equine Assistant
      • May 2017 - May 2019

This position was either filled as an intern or as a weekend employee, it required me to constantly convey a sense of hospitality and concern as it related to guests and staff. I was expected to manage a barn of 37 horses, whilst leading and training a team of 6 members, and taking groups of guests of 20-30 riders on 4 rides a day. •Instructed groups of 20+ people of all ages with information totally new to them. • Managed 6 person teams for month long sessions, providing in-depth guidance, training, and decision making. • Helped new team members become accustomed to a new environment while also monitoring performance and setting goals.• Utilized strong communication and personal relationships to give constructive criticism that led to improved performance.• Handled any unexpected service issues and scheduled and oversaw 4 group events daily.

This position was a support position as either an intern or weekend employee that required me to interact with people in a variety of positions. Through both formal training and direct experience, I was expected to lead weekend staff and foster an environment where guests, staff and volunteers are well cared for using the cornerstones of hospitality, safety, service and attention to detail. Responsible for helping troubleshoot and coordinate program support, audio-visual systems, challenge courses, rides, waterfront, recreation and medical emergencies.•Execute daily responsibilities with attention to the standards and metrics required for excellent camp operations.•Expected to establish trusted and supportive relationships with Young Life Field Staff and trip leaders in order to properly coordinate events and weekend experiences. •Constantly organizing and prioritizing tasks and managing time, taking the initiative to find problems before they occur.
