Upon first working with Hunter, I saw a designer eager to learn and build on his already impressive set of skills. As Director of Exhibits, I was especially impressed by his drive to master new materials, tools, and techniques. He experimented with a number of software platforms to fit the tool to the job. At McWane, we work with wood and a CNC frequently. Hunter, coming from a metal and machining background, took time to get comfortable with the materials and workflow.

In addition to the memorial, I also designed products that could utilize other portions of the wood. Provided client with conceptual designs, CAD renderings, and presented to the board of trustees.
