As a principal planner with COMPASS, I support the technical aspects of regional transportation planning using data analysis and data management skill sets and experience. I have designed and built several relational databases, used python to perform complex data analyses and automate tasks, and utilized Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools to visualize results of data analysis tasks. I support performance monitoring of COMPASS’ transportation efforts by helping establish performance measures, define performance targets, performing measurement calculations, and reporting the results. My role has also expanded to include learning the planning principals and process for transportation safety, congestion management, and transportation systems management and operations. I have written technical planning documents and managed several planning projects concerning these topics. Show less
