Composite Design Intern
-
May 2017 - Aug 2017
For the most part I supported design and structures engineers in evaluating and clearing quality nonconformances. This gave me more exposure to CAD (Siemens NX 9), finite element analysis (ANSYS Classic and Workbench, Mentat), statistical process control, tolerancing, and more. I also created many technical presentations which involved finding and navigating technical drawings and models of large assemblies in the Pratt network.
