Initiate and complete the procurement process in a cost effective and ethical manner considering price, service, quality, inventory positions, operations requirements, in accordance with the company procedures. Initiate the formalities of Pre-qualification of new vendors and new products and update the vendor base of the company. Arrange interdepartmental meetings, co-ordinate with user / vendor, inspection, finance and legal departments to discuss and finalize the correct technical parameters, inspection requirements and commercial terms to be incorporated in to the Purchase Orders. Attend to all the Post Order technical queries from the vendors for the effective execution of the Purchase Orders released. Liaise with vendors and logistics for the timely delivery of the materials.. Show less
