Patrick Murphy

During my tenure as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies in Temple University's Klein College of Media and Communication, Humberto and I worked together to start the "Mexico Chair" program at Temple University's Klein College of Media and Communication. Creating this program, which is the first of its kind between Mexico's AMEXCID and a media and communication program in a major university in the US, was a major achievement and would have been impossible without Humberto's tireless efforts and collaborative approach to institutional initiatives. Throughout the process, Humberto demonstrated drive, creative problem solving and flexibility to get the Mexico Chair agreement completed. He is a true professional and was a pleasure to work with.

Pfizer brought me into a new level of professionalism, as working for a pharmaceutical company with global operations was a great challenge. The main task was to ensure cost-effective logistic systems, always ready to provide solutions to customers and meet our internal goals. Administered the process of sending products at the correct time. I worked to develop standard processes and procedures to guarantee better service and agile responses to customer needs. As a service agent, my role was to follow the formal process for good service, to always listen to our costumers and try to understand them to solve any problems they may have within my capabilities. Informally, I played a critical role in sensing and preventing problems at my workplace by being involved and treating people with a professional attitude and a style that tells them "you are important." Also I had to communicate with other employees, support their needs and develop social relationships.
