      I was assigned a project to control on-chip LEDs of a Micro Control Unit using C++. I entered the internship with no prior experience with C++, but leveraging my previous programming knowledge in Python and Java, and reading up on relevant documentation of C++ as well as the microcontroller model, I was able to understand the existing code and build upon it to successfully control the peripherals on the microchip.
