      ◦ Integrated the team responsible for developing autonomous driving algorithms, using ROS/C++, that reflect in the car’s driverless capability. The autonomous pipeline encompasses point-cloud processing, neural networks, sensor fusion algorithms, estimation ability (using SLAM and Kalman filters) and control algorithms (MPC). ◦ Competitions: FSG 2022 (Germany), 3rd place in the Driverless Cup; FSS 2022 (Spain), 1st place in the Driverless Cup ◦ Integrated the team responsible for developing autonomous driving algorithms, using ROS/C++, that reflect in the car’s driverless capability. • UAV - ART
      • Oct 2018 - Jun 2021

Part of the UAV-ART project that aims to design a control system for a fixed-wing aircraft. The goal set is the ability for the aircraft to autonomously navigate through predefined waypoints. In my first year in the team, I was part of the design and construction of the very first iteration of the UAV model. From my second year onwards, I shifted to the control team where I have been working mainly in the flight controller. This includes PID control, Kalman filters, parameters identification, sensor fusion and path planing (Dubins path). Tech used: MATLAB/Simulink, Raspberry Pi. Show less

    • Workshop Rockets Lecturer
      • Oct 2019 - Mar 2020

The Rocket Workshop is an activity carried out both at IST, for students of all studylines, and at local high schools. This activity consists of a theoretical part in which concepts such as stability, center of gravity and center of pressure are addressed. And a second part of planning, building and launching the rocket. In short, this project aims to promote the passion for space among youngsters.
