Heat Treat Operator

Ran operator heat treat booth  Made sure all furnaces and temper furnaces were up and running to correct temp. adjusted temp. as needed to reach desired temp  Made sure we were on correct heat number and correct material  We received raw pipe materials from customer and heat treated it to what specifications on what the customer ask for, for instance P110,L80,CYP110  Made sure material exited furnaces at desired temps. Or adjust furnace as needed to reach desired temp for desired hardness  Input samples into system to have cut and sent to lab to check hardness  Watch the conveyer line and made sure there were no pile ups on the line  Also worked inbound checking in material to system made sure material wasn’t damaged or hooked and correct heat number  Also worked the straightener machine made sure settings were set for the correct size of joint made sure there were no roll marks and joint is coming out straight if not adjust settings on angles and pressure on rollers  Also worked the stencil table to make sure the correct stencil was being sprayed also pulled off sample joint to cut sample off with torch mark joint with info and send it to the lab for testing
