  The Emerging Technology team brings the future forward by discovering, testing, and driving the early adoption of new technologies. I manage a portfolio of Emerging Technology experimentation projects for the Commonwealth Bank. This includes end-to-end delivery, from strategy consultation, trend analytics, ideation, vendor negotiations, experiment design and execution using Agile methodologies. My current areas of focus include the exploration of quantum computing software in enterprise, and using AI tools to solve some of the critical challenges in the Bank. Ongoing areas of interest include cyber security, IoT, next generation interfaces (e.g. BCI, VR/AR), data ecosystems, blockchain etc.To ensure a healthy pipeline of initiatives, our team works closely with a broad ecosystem of like-minds, both internally (strategy teams and business/tech leaders) and externally (early stage or established vendors, academia, technology capital investors).My other activities include supporting strategic commercialisation and investment opportunities that have resulted from our work, such as the design of commercial terms for equity investments, or supporting business case drafting.
