    • Instructional Designer / Media Producer
      • Aug 2012 - Jul 2016

As a member of the University's online learning department ("Global Learning Initiatives"), I worked with team members and University faculty/staff in the design and production of media for the delivery of effective instruction in online and on-ground learning environments. Notably, I created a consistent visual look and feel for courses developed under the auspices of the department, and branded the LMS itself to comply with the overall visual redesign of the University's public web presence.I administered the University's LMS (Canvas), as well as all third-party enhancements to Canvas, including Panopto, VoiceThread, Bb Collaborate, Respondus LockDown Browser, and Turnitin. I produced instructional screencasts/tutorials using Camtasia, Final Cut Pro, and other tools, and produced promotional and other video projects for schools and departments at the University at their request.Additionally, I provided one-to-one consultation for full and part-time faculty and staff in instructional design, online student learning / behavior, as well as supporting their use and understanding of the LMS. I also designed and conducted faculty workshops concerning media-oriented features of Canvas, appropriate use of interactive media in the classroom, and assorted technology topics. Show less
