In 2019 I founded a catering business whilst at university. As a private chef, I have attracted consistent work for private clients for a range of events including weddings, parties and holidays. I also organise and provide other chefs to cater for clients' events. My service includes one-to-one menu consultation to create bespoke menus suited to each client’s tastes and needs. I aim to create modern, seasonal and locally sourced food to the highest standard and with outstanding presentation. Since 2019 I have designed, launched and continue to run a website (https://www.brooksprivatechefs.com/) and Instagram page to increase my media presence. Show less

Eatbigfish is a global strategic consultancy specialising in challenger brands. During my time there I worked on an individual project researching and developing a strategic tool to prompt clients to consider ways in which their brand can innovate using a challenger mindset. This focused on and analysed how clients could ask questions about their own brand identity, and suggest new and different ways to innovate within their own markets and create a more distinctive brand identity. I Pitched my research and ideas to the directors, and they have since further developed my strategic ideas to be used on client projects moving forward. I also participated as part of a small team in current client projects, including working with large global and challenger brands directly in workshops. This included researching and discussing my ideas with clients on how they could use challenger thinking to redefine their brand identity and use this to guide creative and strategic decision making in the future. Furthermore, I enjoyed contributing to a company newsletter and writing a piece on innovation and diversity within the industry, including a case study within this. Following the end of the internship, I was invited to attend a company-wide monthly conference with a leading Chinese digital strategy and marketing firm. Show less
