Country Risk Analysis & Legal Summer Intern
-
Jul 2016 - Aug 2016
I was shadowing the head of the Legal Department and the Executive Office, assessing global and idiosyncratic risks. Countries studied included: Cameroon and Senegal, as the Benelux branch constitutes their Lead Country. - Careful study of current risk premiums used in Water & Waste Water industry projects reflecting credit and liquidity risk. - Additional relevant risks were then identified, and a risk measurement and monitoring model was developed - Volatility of the relevant industry was calculated in order to adjust exposure of various projects to industry risk over and above general market risk: - I then developed an exposure metric and scaled the project premium accordingly for individual projects.
