This is part of iLab1 experience in MDSI. The objective of the project is to build a knowledge graph from a set of semi-structured (skill frameworks) and unstructured documents (resumes). Here are the main tasks: - Parse data related to skills from tables in word files by creating XML parsers in Python - Extract skills from resumes by using NLP tools such as spaCy and building and evaluating custom skills extraction models with various machine learning models: logistic regression, fastText and roBERTa - Set up Neo4j database and populate from extracted data
