Working on the Port Mann Highway 1 Project - the largest infrastructure project in British Columbia's history. Initially responsible for delivery of Geotechnical design packages, I later took on the role of Civil Coordinator, acting as the chief point of contact between the client, contractors and our multi-disciplinary design team. This involved negotiating design changes and allocating design resources to resolve problems on site. Responsible for planning and supervising ground investigation for a large Oil & Gas project in Kazakhstan. This included 5 months on site, where temperatures varied from -40 to +40 degrees. I also developed VBA (excel) procedures to manage and analyse large volumes of incoming lab data, then used this data to produce interpretative reports. Retail wine sales, at one of Oddbins' most prestigious stores in the affluent neighbourhood of South Kensington. As well as gaining great sales experience, the opportunities for "product research" were amazing.
