  Manage a staff of roughly 15 employees charged with conducting field examinations of existing and prospective Corporate & Institutional (C&I) and asset-based lending customers. Responsible for coordinating, reviewing and distributing field exam reports that evaluate the quality and integrity of the collateral securing the loan. Day to day functions include oversight of scheduling, consistency of work product, distribution of exams, tracking the lender/credit responses to the exams, storage of the exams, and employee goal measurement and achievement.   I held a similar role at National City Bank. PNC Financial Services announced October 24, 2008 its purchase of National City for about $5.2 billion in stock with funds from the U.S. Treasury. At the time of the acquisition, National City had been the 7th largest bank in the United States, two spots ahead of acquirer PNC. The deal was finalized on December 31, 2008, and the National City name was retired on June 14, 2010. I held a similar role at National City Bank.
