Since his calling to ministry, Pastor Howard has sought the face of the Lord for direction and God’s leading. Pastor Howard served as the Sr. Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor at World Overcomers Christian Church located in Durham, North Carolina. World Overcomers has been recognized as one of the fastest growing churches on the East Coast, having a consistent Sunday Morning attendance of 10,000. Pastor Howard had the opportunity & experience of helping his former pastor & now covering pastor, Pastor Andy Thompson, grow the church from its early stages to where it is today. In 2007 Pastor Howard became the First African American State Youth Pastor for the Church of God Ministries and held two other F.S.A state positions. He is now the senior pastor of New Beginnings Church in Orlando, FL., one of the few multiracial churches in the area with an African-American Senior Pastor. Over the last 7 years, weekend attendance has grown from just over 40 to 550. Neighborhood presence has increased exponentially through PH’s vision of “reconciliation of all races- reaching the world, while saving the community”. PH and pastor Shauna have opened a new school called New Beginnings Academy ranging from K-8th grade which has help impact the community. The NB food pantry, Hands2Heart feeds approximately 300-350 families a month from the community thru out the year, while the NB Camp Xtreme feeds hungry children up to age 18 all summer long for free. The hands to heart ministry along with the youth camp is preparing to relaunch with the churches new location. Show less
