The course was co-taught with two other colleagues, where each one of us was responsible for teaching 1/3rd of the course syllabus in order to accelerate course delivery in less than one semester. - Developed, implemented and delivered instructional materials for the theoretical “Basic Nursing Care” I and II courses (NURS 184 and NURS 185) for the undergraduate nursing program, spanning over 3 semesters, fall, winter and summer. (Materials included course syllabus, lectures, assignments, in-class activities, student handbook, facilitator guide for the labs, quizzes and exams and evaluation rubrics). - Participated in updating the first-year nursing curriculum and reviewed all up-to-date textbooks and references pertaining to the subject-matter and courseware. - Developed and delivered instructional material and workshop to train faculty members on how to operate and use different types of patient simulation mannequins as well as how to implement them in their courses for training and evaluating students. - Supervised, instructed and evaluated nursing students in various clinical settings, including medical/surgical, intensive care, cardiac care, emergency, pediatric, pediatric intensive care and neonatal intensive care units. - Participated in developing and delivering a 2-days’ workshop on first aid for school-aged children with hands-on-training.
