  My internship was about the formulation of different drug carriers using native albumin. These Biomaterials have been shown to be biodegradable, biocompatible, not toxic (as we do not use surfactants, toxic solvents and the process is carried out at 37°C). I Formulated Biodegradable Drugs carriers from Albumin by salt compaction, top-down process (Foams, Membranes, cylinders, MP, and NP) From the obtained foams and cylinders, I evaluated the feasibility of obtaining microparticles and nanoparticles by a top-down process, later I optimized the formulation and evaluated their stability. -Still in this project, I Characterized the formulation (DLS, Zeta Potential, Microscopy, TGA, DSC, NTA, etc - Evaluated the impact of Freeze Drying on the stability albumin NP. - Conducted various freeze-drying experiments - Carried out post loading using Doxorubicin Show less
