Over the past four years, I've had the privilege of working with and learning from Hope as both a colleague and as her manager. She is a rare talent - equally exceptional at cultivating authentic, lasting relationships and developing and delivering value-add, goal-oriented programs. Hope is passionately committed to the promise of education. She intuitively recognizes the potential in people and has been a catalyst for growth in lives of hundreds of students while at W. P. Carey. In addition, she is an invaluable partner, resource and friend for faculty and colleagues. At W. P. Carey, Hope’s primary responsibility is the management of our full-time MBA program. Under her stewardship, the program has achieved a balance of outcomes and student experience, leading to increased student engagement, alumni involvement and rankings. I highly recommend Hope; her skills, energy and drive would be an asset to any organization.

As an evening MBA alumni, I was lucky to cross paths with Hope through an international elective program held in Peru in 2012. Throughout the experience, I was witness to Hope's superior organization skills, her impeccable time management, and her ability to adapt to any situation or circumstance. I felt confident that she could troubleshoot any predicament that may arise, and I am certain she can do so within all environments she enters. Hope does a wonderful job of helping others find their intention and purpose, and then pushes them to find the path that will reach their goals. She is a great developer and motivator, and I attribute much of my career drive to her strong ability to inspire people.

Education and Student Success ConsultingMission: Giving Hope empowers youth and their support networks to overcome limiting beliefs, discover and design their futures. | Explore. Design. Become. Iterate. Services:Student, Family and Community ProgramsDISC and Communication WorkshopsEducation, STEM, Entrepreneurship, and Student Success ConsultingAt Giving Hope, I work to help 8th-12th graders, families, and their communities connect dots, identify opportunities and providing a deeper understanding of what motivates them. My work centers on helping to break cycles through a series of workshops focused on the themes Explore. Design. Become. Iterate. . Using this framework we design a roadmap to guide students through a process of self-identification, exploration, educational planning, and how to continuously build who they are and the impact they have on the world. Intelligent planning reduces the gap between what’s visible and what’s possible and helps students discover career paths that build character and communities.
