  In the first two years with this company I moved from receptionist to supervising legal secretary. I drafted simple motions, created forms on WordPerfect, interacted with clients, drafted correspondence, managed the calendar for multiple attorneys as well as the tasks pertaining to each attorney and case. I handled phone calls and understood the autonomy of each Texas court. Maintaining a complicated file system and updating manuals were also a large part of my job. In addition I also kept up with procedural changes and made sure they are implemented in our office. Overseeing support staff and attending to HR related matters were basic functions of this position as well.
