  As an additional part-time role alongside my studies, I helped manage a team of bar staff at the University of Exeter Students’ Guild. As a Team Leader, I was responsible for ensuring that all financial tasks were completed, such as setting up the tills before the Guild opens, and for overseeing the work of my teammates. For example, delegating tasks such as restocking the bar and making sure that procedures are followed, including training requirements, so that we adhered to the venue’s license requirements at all times. I thoroughly enjoyed working at The Lemon Grove particularly due to the incredibly diverse team that I worked alongside throughout my two years at the venue.
