As the Director of Youth Services, Ms. Wisneski created and implemented daily programs for the Rainbow Alley drop-in center, serving over 600 high-risk youth per month. She doubled youth participation at Rainbow Alley through effective outreach and community- driven programming. She also created curriculum and trained several thousand professionals across school, juvenile justice, and nonprofit systems on LGBT competency issues. Ms. Wisneski co-created and implemented a nationally recognized LGBT youth survey, and has co-authored over a dozen articles about high-risk youth issues like homelessness, tobacco use, and suicide. Ms. Wisneski was a founding staff member of the 18th Judicial District Juvenile Assessment Center where she worked with hundreds of families and high-risk youth. Ms. Wisneski was a regular presence in the court room, advocating for youth and families who felt silenced by the juvenile justice system.
