Hope is undoubtedly one of the most passionate and talented people I have ever met. I have had the privilege of knowing her for the past 8 years, and working together over the past 14 months at Founders Factory Africa. Hope has an unparalleled ability to connect with founders across different markets and sectors, and negotiate great deals despite multiple constraints. The pipeline she was able to generate as a one woman team was astounding and her insight into the local ecosystem is excellent (listen to her podcast features for reference). She both sets the gold standard through example and provides a platform for her team to grow, displaying effortless leadership skills. Hope has been one of my favourite people to work alongside. Her energy is infectious, her ambition is inspiring, and I know she will continue to excel as a leader and investor. I’m looking forward to watching her journey and know that she will shift the landscape for woman-led startups in Africa, and possibly beyond. If you get the opportunity to work with Hope, take it.
