Seasonal Server & Supervisor
-
Jun 2016 - Present
Through my work as a server, I was provided with countless opportunities to develop my ability to think on my feet and adapt to new pressures. As I grew within the company over my 5 years of service, I was given more responsibility, such as training new staff and overseeing daily running of the café. Working in a customer service profession is uniquely beneficial and has made me particularly aware of the importance of collaborating with others in the workspace. I have dealt with a wide range of customers, sometimes allowing me to flex my use French and Spanish, other times fine-tuning my sensitivity and empathy. New experiences presented themselves frequently, with anything from tractor-driving to giving TV interviews appearing on my radar. Show less
