I am teaching at an Inner London school; Manor Infants School. I completed my NQT year in August 2016 and am currently in my 2nd year at Manor Infants teaching a Year 2 class. Duties include: Providing a high standard of education to Year 2 pupils including the teaching of Literacy, Numeracy, Science and Foundation subjects. Planning differentiated lessons for children with a wide range of abilities and learning styles including children with special educational needs. Assessing children using Target Tracker. Preparing Year 2 pupils for the SATs Liaising with parents and encouraging parental involvement in children's development and learning. Planning educational out of school trips to further children's development and learning and give pupils first hand experiences. Attending and facilitating staff meetings and contributing to the school's new curriculum and policies. Deployment of support staff within Key Stage 1. Show less
