      • Nov 2015 - Present

I support and provide vocational, functional and personal skills training to a 45+ strong caseload of work placed learners of varying abilities across the South West. I specialise in delivering training and mentoring in Management, Team leading and Customer Service, drawing on my knowledge of these skills from a wealth of experience in my previous workplace sectors, supporting a variety of businesses and employers based in Hospitality, Further Education and Law administration. My greatest achievement to date is building and maintaining a thriving relationship with the University of Bath, successfully supporting upwards of fifty employees through diplomas, helping them to gain Levels Three, four and five in their chosen sectors, and creating an ongoing programme of new learners quarter on quarter. I was also part of the selected group of Advisors that were observed and assessed by Ofsted for the June 2017 inspection, with my performance contributing to the company achieving Good provider status, with “Grade 2 in all areas with elements of outstanding" quoted. In this role I have undergone a vast amount of training, growing in the fields of providing Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) to all levels of the workforce, a full study of Prevent, Channel and Safeguarding, as well as achieving both the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Education and Training (AET) and the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA). I have successfully transitioned from the NVQ Apprenticeship system, to the new National Occupational Standards, and have a full understanding of the Levy Apprenticeship changes that have taken place during 2017/18, having undergone full procedure and data training to bring my skills up to date with the government guidelines, and working towards successfully supporting learners to End Point Assessment in August 2018. Heading up the events and entertainment of this busy touring hotel, as well as overseeing the group bookings. I progressed to assistant manager, leading the team in delivering a wide range of activities, as well as using the resources, both human and facilities, to ensure that the General manager was supported in the success and development of the business. During this time I was able to deliver a full in house training schedule to ensure that the service provided was standardised and that staff motivation and reward was key. My responsibilities covered a vast range of duties, including collaboration with departments both in and outside the Hotel, whereupon I was able ensure the business could progress by making good use of the external support that was available to it, and capitalising on the local tourist community to grow the reputation of the hotel within its surroundings.
