My role was to implement a cost effective, efficient and proactive marketing and internal communications strategy that supported the Groups core purpose, values and objectives whilst staying in budget. During my time at Housing Solutions my main focus was to improve the groups online presence, trying to find new an innovative was to communicate with customers online and provide them with a fully self service website. I led on a many projects in my role including - a full company rebrand, new company website and managing the implementation and role out of a new staff intranet. I managed the internal communication across the business delivering effective, efficient and engaging staff communications. I also led on a number of significant and difficult internal communications pieces including - a company merger, a company restructure, pension reform and contract changes. All of which saw an increase in staff engagement and satisfaction. My key responsibilities were, to lead, coach and manage a small communications team. Lead on all pro-active and reactive media releases and briefings. Deliver high quality content and design for multi-channel communications. Manage the day to day running of our social media platforms increasing our presence and interactions. All internal communications to both onsite and offsite teams. Some of my key achievements include: • Boosted engagement and company presence with organisational rebranding & change programme• Increased our online presence by over 50% with design and launch of new staff intranet, website and customer portal• Increased social media engagement across all channels by over 150%• Successfully hosted two visit by the Prime Minister• Raised company profile by planning and hosting PR & launch events• Increased and maintained colleague morale and engagement across all departments including during important company changes which include a potential merger, pension reform consultation and department restructures.

My role incorporated all aspects of both internal and external communications, in both digital and printed form, for a not-for-profit housing association. We as an organisation own, maintain and manage around 8,000 properties in South-East England, my key focus is our online presence, trying to find innovative ways to build relationships and interact with our residents. I was responsible for the upkeep and general day to day running of all of the company websites and social media channels. I also played a key part in the design and implementation of a new corporate website looking at the sales of shared ownership and rental properties. I've was a key part of the project team right through from request to tender to the launch, as well as being the lead content manager. I worked on publicity and corporate events including our AGM, opening's of new developments and property open days. I played a key role in all press calls and enquires and have dealt with a number of press enquires whilst in this role. Whilst missing a member of the sales team I played a large part in the sales, conveyancing and completion on a vast number of Shared Ownership properties, right through from property open days to purchaser completions.

I previously worked as Marketing Assistant at one of Hampshire's leading visitor attractions. As Marketing Assistant I was responsible for assisting in the delivery of the marketing plan. My role included producing company literature, external marketing campaigns including e-newsletters and social media, web and e-marketing. Other areas of my role included, producing and distributing company information, analysing data and compiling reports. In my time as marketing assistant I have also worked with the events team on a number of large scale events, including; Victorious - a 2 day music festival seeing over 42,000 visitors. As well as A Victorian Festival of Christmas - our annual Christmas festival which this year welcomed over 31,000 visitors.

My role involved putting together and leading workshops for Key Stage 3&4 and Post 16 classes in Business & Marketing, Travel &Tourism and Customer Service.
