I had the pleasure of teaching Holly Edwards during her time as a student at Richmont Graduate University. Holly distinguished herself during her time at Richmont with her excellent research and writing skills, attention to detail, passionate approach to the discipline of counseling, and great sense of humor. Holly's nature is to seek excellence in all that she does, but she balances this excellence with incredible empathy. She has the ability to attend to details without losing sight of the big picture and personal relationships involved in any situation. I appreciate her character, her collaborative nature, her ability to think practically and ethically about clinical cases, and her willingness to articulate her opinions with measured, passionate eloquence. As an educator and clinician, working with Holly was a true joy.

Not only is Holly a gifted writer, editor, and communicator, but she’s also one of the best teammates I’ve had the privilege of working with. She was resourceful and skilled, utilizing a range of mediums to help Salama convey its vision and mission effectively to diverse audiences. She also had a unique ability to forge and nurture mutually beneficial volunteer relationships with major institutions across the city. In three years as her colleague, I developed an immense respect for her work, her integrity, and her judgment on a range of issues. Holly is both intelligent and wise, and she is always a team player. Her work ethic, breadth of experience, passion for excellence and commitment to our students made the entire organization better. She went out of her way to help the rest of the team whenever needed, and I relied on her daily, knowing I could always depend on her to deliver. I have the utmost respect for her, both personally and professionally, and I can't recommend her highly enough.
