  Team Up uses tuition to enable pupils from low income backgrounds to meaningfully increase their academic attainment in order to improve the choices available to them. I delivered tailored English Language and Literature tuition sessions to a group of Year 7 girls.   Debate Mate is a registered charity offering a range of programmes to participating schools. The programmes aim to tackle educational disadvantage in Britain's most deprived areas and reinforce the fact that every child deserves equal access to top education. I taught a regular and extensive Debating class for 11-16 year olds, preparing them for national competitions. Establishing a rapport with my students I taught them communication, teamwork and problem solving skills as well as raising their speaking and listening attainment. I helped my students gain confidence in public speaking and develop their pragmatic debating skills to competition standard. Show less
