I am a keyworker and work collaboratively with at risk students, parents, and senior leadership to ensure effective support is in place. This includes outside of school and in school provision for the students. I have CPD training in high quality practice, working with ODD and Autism. I support classes from age 11 – 18. I am a qualified scribe, reader, and prompt in exam settings. My main duties include: • To provide a continuity and consistency of support to the relevant line manager facilitating student access to and progress in any educational, social, therapy or developmental programme as relevant.• To follow and act upon behaviour management guidelines, advice, and programmes in line with the philosophy and reinforcement of the Positive Behaviour Policy.• Work with and manage challenging behaviour, enabling students to develop from needing external control, to developing self-control.• To supervise students during break times.• To support the class teacher and/or instructor to ensure that all relevant education policies and procedures are implemented in full.

As a team leader I was in charge of training staff and overseeing the front of shop. I maintain cleanliness and hygiene and manage stock control. Working at Churchills has given me great customer service and persuasive communication skills through our “up-selling scheme”. I have also developed strong selling skills with our promotional items. During my work experience for BP Global, I developed many skills that I can translate into the workplace. The BP manager asked me to research the new Power Market and stock trends, I created a presentation for the traders informing them on new terminology, new markets, and sales techniques. My research and presentation were fundamental with helping them in the transition from energy to power trading. This work experience allowed me to develop independence, responsibility, and social interaction in a corporate setting. My second project was evaluating BPs social media and creating a presentation suggesting improvements that would increase their online presence. My input and ideas are being taken into consideration.
