  I managed the venue's presence on Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter and the set up Hootsuite, Pinterest and new Mailchimp formats. My Opencart shop duties included rewriting meta data, product descriptions and special offers. I ran successful targeted Twitter Ads and used the data to inform product movement. Always on the look out for how to improve, I set up new administrative marketing systems to collate dates, events and strategies, thus allowing tasks to be completed more efficiently. I liaised with artists, producers and management to run campaigns and with customers to update databases, process payments and deliveries. Other duties included weekly Mailchimp event news, poster creation, in-house marketing materials and displays. Researching events and artists, designing interviews, supervising work placements and supporting the other staff as needed. The Firestation also ran an independent publishing platform, for which I managed calls to action, launched campaigns and recruited for collaborators. Show less

  Carrying out in-depth market research, contacting schools in Hampshire and Surrey to find out how to integrate The Dance Movement into their curriculum. Created and compiled a database of schools for contacts for social media and set up Linkedin, flickr profiles and blog to write about dance and The Dance Movement, for the continued enhancement of the company’s brand. Recent projects: Planned and compiled a questionnaire to understand school's needs and followed up with phone calls. Designed and produced a campaign of 6 postcards advertising specialist dance and cultural day events, combined with a marketing strategy and timeline. Designed and implemented an E-marketing campaign to promote the brand and build relationships with schools. Written newsletters and event invitations tailored to mailing lists and clients. Initiated a project to create a lesson plan resource which will be accessible remotely to schools. Prepared reports for board and presented findings. I currently teach dance to yrs 3 - 6 at primary schools as an extra curricula subject. Show less
