Responsible for maintenance and continual improvement of companywide subsurface workflows, processes, standards, guidelines, best practices and the software application portfolio. Central element of work is the assessment of subsurface risk and uncertainty in production and development projects. The preferred approach to carry multiple deterministic subsurface scenarios through the decision process is seen to be advantageous compared to stochastic methods. Research interests focus on all aspects of aeolian deposits and numerical parametrization of such heterogeneous rocks. Another research project looks specifically at slope channel turbidites and the effect of the complexity on drainage and recovery.
