  Provide structural analysis support of advanced aerospace flight vehicles and commercial products development. Works are at system or component level, including test articles and fixture supporting these vehicles, and their subsystems. The position include systems engineering functions such as requirements development, trade studies, modeling and simulation, and risk assessment. Support static and dynamic structural test with pretest and post-test analyses at assembly and subassembly levels. Independent verification and validation of test plans and test results. Provide reports, presentations and other documentation in support range of projects including systems engineering and development tasks. - Build and process Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of structures utilizing software platforms including MSC Nastran, MSC Patran, NEx Nastran, and FEMAP. Use MSC/NASTRAN to do quality checks on finite element models. - Create/integrate reduced finite element models and perform modal and transient analysis on finite element models. - Prepare structural reports and presentations and work across multiple disciplines to find resolution to problems.
