STARS is a program that allows students who require a smaller therapeutic classroom setting and mental health support to attend school. STARS stands for Successful Transition Achieved with Responsive Support. This program mostly supports the Emotionally Disturbed (ED) population of students on campus that are transitioning from mental health facilities back to mainstream high school. Here students are given the chance to be on a regular campus while working on their mental health goals, earning high school credits, and being offered support services that assist them in the process of healing, recovery, and developing healthy coping skills.
