3 Badge Beverage Corp. is a négociant led by fourth-generation vintner August Sebastiani representing an innovative portfolio of terroir-driven wines and craft spirits from around the globe. 3 Badge Mixology offers Bozal Mezcal, Uncle Val’s Gin, Kirk & Sweeney Rum, Pasote Tequila, Quechol Sotol, Benjamin Chapman Whiskey, and La Pivón Vermouth, while 3 Badge Enology includes Gehricke Wines from Sonoma, Tree Fort Wines from the Central Coast, Cedar + Salmon wines from the Pacific Northwest, and Guinigi Wines from Italy. In the role of Associate Marketing Manager, I work to create and implement comprehensive marketing plans, including regional and national promotions, seasonal programs, digital and print advertising, influencer partnerships, product activations, and brand launches. These responsibilities include assisting with brand budgeting, invoice processing, and reconciliation. In support of our sales team, I also develop and manage all sales presentations, sell sheets, POS materials, and promotional items for the 11 brands that are part of the 3 Badge Mixology and Enology portfolios. Combining the analytical with the creative, I lead data analysis on Nielsen and other key data sets and present insights on brand performances, competitive sets, and industry trends to help inform both our marketing and sales initiatives. Using this information, I also drive the strategy, content development, community management and analytics for 37 social media accounts across IG, FB, TW, and LI, partnering with outside teams to create digital content through photo and video shoots. Navigating public representations of our brands, I contribute to PR activities including writing press releases, building key media relationships, and submitting new products for scoring. I also travel to trade shows and special events, personally conduct VIP tastings, and work to foster positive relationships with our partners throughout the 3-tier system. Show less

Dripless is a manufacturer of quality caulking guns, specialty dispensing tools, and related accessories. As the Marketing Assistant for a small company, I have had the unique opportunity to wear many hats. From designing digital and print collateral (including print ads, digital retargeting ads, various promotional materials, digital resources for virtual tradeshows, packaging artwork, product labels, etc.), to resolving conflicts with distressed customers, to engaging with national and international representatives, I have been exposed to many of the ins and outs of marketing for a B2B company. With an emphasis on digital marketing, my primarily focus has been to spearhead a digital rebranding effort to create a consistent, modern image across all owned and earned media, and take full advantage of Dripless's trademarked and copyrighted materials. I have also designed content for and built up Dripless's brand across all social media platforms, and worked to curate a strong online community amongst our customers and team members. Through data tracking and analysis, I've also begun to discover how Dripless can best improve its marketing efforts. Show less

WhatEvery1Says is a 4Humanities project that uses digital humanities methods to study public discourse about the humanities at large data scales. As a member of the Human Subjects Research team, I had the privilege of researching undergraduate student discourse surrounding the humanities through individual surveys, topic models, and interpersonal discussions. By performing data analysis on our multi-million article corpus using tools such as Excel, dendrograms, and pyLDAvis, I was able to produce concise explanations of key findings and trends. I also organized and lead an undergraduate research panel with 50+ attendees, furthering our project's goal of turning research into active advocacy. As a member of the Social Media team, I managed the project's Instagram and Facebook pages, and contributed to the development of publicity campaigns. Show less

    • Writing Tutor for Campus Learning Assistance Services
      • Sep 2019 - Jun 2020

CLAS provides invaluable aid to university students at UCSB in search of academic tutoring. As a part of the Writing and Language Services team, I conducted one-on-one, 30 minute tutoring sessions with college students by appointment or on a drop-in basis. With a thorough knowledge of writing conventions, English grammar, and stylistic techniques, I was able to encourage students regarding ways to further their writing. I also researched effective methods of teaching writing standards to English language learners, so I would be better equipped to serve students who were English language learners. Show less
