She served as a graduate student grader in class from me, Principles of Innovation and Entrepreneurship -ENTR 3000. She graded that class in 2016. She did a grading job in her grading work in that class. It was a strong class of about 70 students, and I was developing a new text and teaching materials and creating videos for the class. This required much more work than usual of the two of us. She did a great job of keeping up with grading the weekly assignments, two tests, and the lengthy business plan. The class required two examinations and also a hybrid business plan that is a version of the traditional business plan which incorporates approaches from the Lean Launchpad and the development of a business model canvas. Her work was very well done. Because the class was a new approach, that has since been contributed to the Open Courseware Creative Commons project, she had to do quite a lot of reading and self-study to keep herself up on the topics, literature, and cases that I was using. She tells me that she continues to go back to some of the You Tube videos that we created for the class to update her background on approaches to entrepreneurship and other management topics. She showed entrepreneurial spirit in the class and did excellent work. She was always very diligent for class, and demonstrated good communications skills throughout the class She seems to be a caring, cooperative, and collaborative colleague. I recommend her as a solid and diligent potential employee. Sincerely yours, Jack M. Wilson President Emeritus of the University of Massachusetts Distinguished Professor of Higher Education, Emerging Technologies and Innovation
