  • Planning, organizing, developing and monitoring projects including but not limited to initiatives that promote relief activities in Pakistan. Project types include relief, early recovery, rehabilitation and preparedness encompassing cash compensation, shelter provision for resettlements, non food items provisions, information sharing, health facilities provision, community‐based disaster risk reduction and mass awareness through humanitarian/mass communications. • Designing and developing concept notes, project proposals, budgets and feasibility plans in close coordination with the relevant authorities and public and private institutions, focusing mainly on Health concerns, Gender based requirements, Resettlement, Humanitarian, Early Recovery, and Rehabilitation projects for the disaster and/or conflict affected people and internally displaced persons. • Support and ensure smooth implementation of activities designed in the response of 2012 Sindh floods. • Coordinate and follow up with administration for ensuring smooth running of project activities. • Liaising with government counterparts and local authorities, leaders, local NGOs, implementing partners, individuals, social mobilizers in the field and groups to implement IOM’s humanitarian response program. • In coordination with respective Project Managers and sub‐offices, monitor and support implementation of the project activities and ensure reports including the humanitarian project activities, situation reports, briefing and background information required by the donors, Govt. of Pakistan and other entities. • Continued performance as IOM Humanitarian Programmes focal point for various interagency and government databases including UN OneView, EAD and Development Assistance Database (DAD) and updating required project information. • Needs assessments before project implementation for choosing the beneficiaries and the target areas; with gender disaggregated data, collecting information on specific rese Show less
