It is very rare to find a person with a combination of passion, integrity, intelligence, a humility, a willingness to continuously learn and grow, be a part of a team and without a personal expectation of success work towards a larger goal. ‘Ridiculously efficient' is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Himangshu. Himangshu and me worked for Kolkata Thunderbolts in the Inaugural season of Prime Volleyball League. He was the Head Team Manager, I have learnt so many things from him and still getting guidances from him. He worked tirelessly to meet the daily goals in the most efficient way. I found him a great team player and leader. Himangshu would be a great asset for any organisation. We need this type of personality to uplift the Indian sports industry. I just hope that India gets enough sports passionate person like him building the ecology of amateur to professional sports, creating coalitions with sports-policy administrators and politicians, funders, sponsors, players, coaches, team-owners, sports media, sports technology nerds and companies, sports infrastructure vendors, that millions of young Indians deserve . Best of luck to him on all his future endeavors. I will always be his well wisher. 👍🏻

I am pleased to write an appreciation post for my mentor Himangshu Talukdar Sir. I have worked under him as an intern during my MBA journey. He possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in sports management and consultation, and has generously shared his insights with me every step of the way. His guidance has not only helped me navigate the complexities of the industry but has also inspired me to reach new heights. Himangshu Sir is not just a mentor but a true leader and role model. I've witnessed firsthand his dedication to the work, his willingness to go the extra mile, and his passion for developing youth sports culture through grassroots level. What sets him apart is his unwavering commitment to fostering growth in others. He has not only been a source of valuable advice but also a source of inspiration and motivation. I've learned not just about professional excellence but also about the importance of integrity, resilience, and leadership. If you have the opportunity to learn from or collaborate with Himangshu Sir, seize it. His wisdom and guidance are invaluable, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking to grow and excel in their career.
