I got the opportunity to work under the guidance of Himangshu as a Research Associate in ICAP, which exposed me to the growing sports industry in India in multiple ways. I got the opportunity to volunteer at Indian Collegiate Athletics Program under the supervision of Himangshu. It was an exceptional experience wherein I was able to exercise and hone multiple skillsets of leading a team and planning and organising events. Himangshu's work ethic is outstanding and he constantly pushes you hard to achieve targets. Another remarkable trait of his is the innovative thinking that he instills in a person which forces one to see not just the short term impact of a project but also the long term. For eg we started of first with organizing inter-college tournaments and extended the acquired skills to manage events for India's top atheletes, thereby helping in funding the long term goals of ICAP. I will whole heartedly recommend ICAP to anyone who is looking to beef up his event management skills and at the same time looking to do it for a great cause.
