I work as the head of an ICT software production team which consist of 8 -12 people who are UI/software designers, programmers and program testers. The team does software development for animal husbandry and specialists of the animal production of ProAgria, one of the main customers of Mtech. I work as a manager for the team members which means that I am responsible for e.g. everyday assignments, development discussions and the people's welfare. I get good ratings in management in Mtech's annual welfare investigations.I also do tasks that traditionally belong in key account managers' jobs because Mtech doesn't have that job anymore. I work in close co-operation with the customer. I help the customer to define what kind of new softwares or changes to the old ones should be done. I make cost estimates with the team and keep the customer up to date about the progress. Some new software is made as separate projects in which I also work as a Project Manager and am responsible for the whole poject. The customer feedback I have received about my ability to lead projects has been excellent.

I was the head of Mtech's UI and Software Designing Unit. I was a manager for 7 -10 people and I was responsible for e.g. everyday assigments, designers' development and the unit's welfare. I was a part of a group that consisted of the unit leaders in Mtech and we planned together how the tasks from the customers could be done on time and within the budget.Due to the changes in Mtech's organization, the unit system was re-organized and the software production was organized by the software devopment teams instead.

I worked with software development concerning milk recording, animal feeding and other areas of animal production. My main role was to think what kind of software may help them to do their job better and to help the farmers in the best way possible. I also educated the specialists when the new software was launched. The software designing was made in very close co-operation with Maatalouden Laskentakeskus (later Mtech Digital Solutions).
