      Stanley Security Solutions is part of the Multinational Corporation Stanley Black & Decker. The Security Solutions section for all of Ireland has a turnover of 14 million and employees approximately 100 people. Commercial Accountant ⦁ Management and overseeing of the day to day activities of 7 staff including accounts payable, accounts receivable and administration staff. ⦁ Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and year end reporting. I also reduced the month end cycle from 8 days to 2. ⦁ KPI Reporting for three business lines - daily sales, weekly order book, utilisation/efficiency rates and Gross Margin. A huge emphasis was put on increasing the gross margin by HQ in the last year which we were successful in achieving. ⦁ Involved in the moving and testing as a user to a new Hyperion HFM system for reporting after the takeover by Stanley Security Solutions. ⦁ Working closely with the operations team on projects identifying opportunities for increasing the GM such as uplifts, controlling overruns on projects, analysing and identifying variances. ⦁ Increased the GM by 5% within the service department. This was done through decreasing the non-chargeable calls, reduction of call backs and revisiting van stocks to keep downtime to a minimum. ⦁ Identifying risky projects and working with the Operations Department to turn this project around. ⦁ Developed new process for HQ balance sheet review on quarterly basis. ⦁ Set up of a new month end closing process for Northern Ireland business after working through the transfer of the business from the UK. ⦁ Fully project managed outsourcing of payroll for ROI and NI within 2 months time frame set by Stanley HQ. ⦁ Full responsibility of treasury and cash flow including forecasting on all three Irish entities on a daily basis and reporting treasury position to Head Office on a monthly basis in line with strict company guidelines.
