Dr Rohr started working at i @ Consulting (Pty) Ltd as a Town and Regional Planner after she completed her master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning in 2012. She recently completed her Ph.D. Urban and Regional Planning at the North West University of Potchefstroom. She is also the head researcher on a “first of its kind” WRC funded project entitled “Securing water sustainability through innovative spatial planning and land use management tools” which introduces the practice of water sensitive development within a RSA-specific context. Since she stared working at i @ Consulting (Pty) Ltd, she has been actively involved in ground-breaking projects assigned by the Department of RDLR. She is a hard-working and motivated professional, well-known for her intellect specifically related to issue of strategic planning and management of land and water resource. During her 7-years in private practice, where National and Local Government were her main client-base, she gained in-depth knowledge on the Constitutional mandate of local and provincial government, as well as several national departments including the Department of Water and Sanitation, Department of Rural Development and Land Reform, Department of Cooperative Governance & Traditional Affairs, Department of Environmental Affairs and Department of Agriculture. She is well equipped with knowledge on RSA’s national development policies, strategies, regulations and legislation. Furthermore, she employs a trans-disciplinary approach to project management – consulting and giving effect to different views on a subject matter.
