I worked with Ancillary Care Solutions (ACS) and Hilary while I was with Dreyer Medical Clinic, Inc. ACS was brought in to Dreyer because of a previous successful engagement our CEO had with them prior to joining our organization. It was a pleasure working with the ACS team and Hilary especially. I could count on Hilary for candor and honesty, technical and clinical expertise, outstanding responsiveness, industry benchmarking and data, assistance and advice, and management expertise. In my COO role, I saw Hilary as an extension of my leadership team. The integrity and knowledge with which she operates allowed me to trust and act on her recommendations and advice, work with them to remove barriers and move our Physical Therapy department to new heights. I wish I had a Hilary for each and every one of my service lines. The results speak for themselves. During my operational oversight tenure, we were able to grow the department with 17 new providers and staff, stabilize and grow 4 sites, reinvent our front desk and back business office functions, improve our clinical documentation and protocols, and grow the business. Year over year improvements (yr 2 to yr3) were 20 to 40% improvements in productivity, 25% increase in payments; 14% improvement in payments/visit, and 30% increase in charges/payments. Our access improved to patients seen within 72 hours as a standard. Productivity metrics set or exceeded national benchmarks. Staff satisfaction improved to more than the 90th percentile as indicated by our National Moorehead employee satisfaction survey. Hilary and Cary (the other principle at ACS) make an outstanding team. Cary provided legal expertise, especially on Stark regulations, which was invaluable to our enterprise. I referred to Hilary and ACS as a big company in a small box. Their payment structure makes them a logical and reasonable partner and a very, very HIGH value. Their time and energy was spent making us more successful, and their business model is structured that way. I never viewed them as consultants, but business partners who provided therapy-specific technical, Human Resource, Compensation, Legal, Financial, and strategic input and value. Their behavior reflected their commitment and investment in us as team members as well. As a valued member of our leadership team, and in the 3rd year of our relationship with Dreyer, our therapy department and our leadership team took a big jump. It was fun, hard, rewarding, and educational. I absolutely would hire them, listen to them, and make them a valued member of my team now and in the future. The really great thing is that Hilary (and Cary as well) are also simply good, grounded people who operate with integrity, valued my trust and acted accordingly, and made me feel a part of the ACS family as well.
