  Software Development* Designed, planned and implemented key user facing software features including FarSounder's Local History Mapping feature and expanding our field of view from 90 degrees to 120 degrees (Python/C++/PostgreSQL/PostGIS)* Developed internal tooling for viewing / managing geo-located sonar data in QGIS (PostgreSQL/GIS backend)* Developed internal web app tool that is currently used extensively for qualitatively evaluating processing changes (Django, PostgreSQL/GIS).Research & Development* Proposed and completed an application for a RI Innovation Voucher for FarSounder's Argos-350 product that was successfully funded for $50,000 (September, 2019).* Conducted a study comparing the accuracy of bathymetric data collected using MBES and 3D-FLS, and presented at (MTS/IEEE OCEANS, 2017).* Created a proof of concept demonstrating the viability of replacing a large part of our real-time target detection / classification pipeline with a CNN. (MTS/IEEE OCEANS, 2018). * Facilitated the addition of FarSounder as the second "trusted node" through participation in the IHO/NOAA crowdsourced bathymetry working group as an "Expert Contributor". So far, we have collected bathymetric data that will soon be available in the crowdsourced bathymetry database from poorly charted places like the Northwest Passage, Greenland, Antarctica, the west coast of South America and the South Pacific. * FarSounder became an "industrial partner" with the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping (CCOM) at the University of New Hampshire as a direct result of attending the CSB working group meetings. Sales & Service* Attended private yacht and military customer vessels for service and to provide end user training. * Attended global trade shows to; (1) introduce the FarSounder to new potential customers, and (2) collect feedback from current customers.
