- Effect of Basalt Fiber on Metakaolin-Based Geopolymer Mortars Containing Rilem, Basalt and Recycled Waste Concrete Aggregates . Different fillers can be used with metakaolin for geopolymer production. . The basalt sand-filled geopolymer mortar showed the highest results. . The recycled waste concrete-filled geopolymer mortar showed acceptable results. . Basalt fiber showed an improvement to the produced samples. . The geopolymer composites resisted the durability tests. - The effect of polyvinyl fibers on metakaolin-based geopolymer mortars with different aggregate filling . Metakaolin-based three different aggregate-filled geopolymers were produced. . The effect of PVA at three different rates on geopolymer composites was investigated. . The mechanical behavior of geopolymers exposed to high temperature and freeze-thaw effects were investigated. . SEM, XRD and FT-IR analysis were performed to investigate the microstructure of composites. . basalt sand filled geopolymers showed the best results. Show less
