I had the privilege to work as a direct report to David for the past 8 months. David’s trademarks as a leader are his consistency, transparency, and ability to follow through with any objectives or goals he sets forward. In my opinion, the best leaders are those who listen first and then offer advice. This is certainly how David conducts himself. Even though he was always busy managing many different aspects of this job, he always made time to hear my concerns and offer counsel. In addition to his compassion for his team and clients, he has the rare ability to stay focused on the bigger picture. He’s not bogged down by the fires of today and in staying steady on the course, he rallies the confidence of those working with him. It was a great pleasure to learn from David.
