A project from Red Hat for the argentinean migrations agency that ingest huge amounts of data from different databases with different structures and merges them into a single model easily consumable by users that need to extract information / patterns / connections / events from that data. • Improved Elasticsearch indexing time by paralelizing the process with celery tasks, removing unnecessary queries and db indexes. • Refactored the “saved searches” feature to skip the postgres database and run a ES query instead, improving response time and reducing the amount of code. • Designed the “similarity search” feature to identify db rows that could be accidental duplicates or clones.
